Fingers, Henry, and Random

I finally understand why people take so many pictures of their newborn baby...you think they are so unbelievably cute you just want to take a photo of everything they do throughout the day!  Here are a few more pictures from Tuesday night with Katie's co-workers, and then some random pictures from Wednesday (today)

Evalynn loves eating her hands...if she can manage to wiggle out of the swaddle we keep her wrapped up in the hands find their way directly to her mouth.

Here she is again with her hands in her mouth
And again...I'm honestly surprised she hasn't gagged herself yet since she is sucking them up to her knuckles and her fingers are long!
Babies can apparently sleep in what look to be completely uncomfortable positions
I'm not sure how she slept so long like this
Henry loves Evalynn
Evalynn loves Henry...she just doesn't know it yet

Evie's First Outfit

After we got back from the hospital we spent a relaxing afternoon on the couch and getting the house back together.  It was nice to be home! That night some of Katie's co-workers came over to see our new daughter.  Katie got her dressed up and ready for the visit.  She did poop her pants twice, but nobody seemed to mind.

The thinking...tooting...pooping...happy face
Is Evie smiling already or is it a facial spasm?
Some of Katie's co-workers stopped by to see Evalynn. Cee Cee loved holding her!
 So did Wendy

Pictures of the Delivery and First Days

Katie had to get hooked up to Oxygen due to her high blood pressure

 Little Evie

George and Mary picked up Julie and Mike from the Alexandria airport on Sunday afternoon and were our first visitors!!

 First family photo
First car seat ride, and Evie's big feet

 Walking out of the hospital
Charlie loved Evalynn, and wanted to lick her all over. Then he ran away while Mike was unloading the car and it took us about an hour to find him as the animal control people were picking him up from down the street.
