My Man

Travis is probably not only the most handsome man I know but the sweetest. Through this week of unpacking and me telling him where to put this and that, because if it was left to him our home would look like a thrift store. Everything would be everywhere. Travis would swear he would know where it all goes, but I would go crazy in the clutter. One night I asked Travis if he would help me unpack all of the china and wash it by hand. I was expecting him to say he was exhausted, but he gladly accepted. I washed while he dried. This is a picture of him doing just that. Dish after dish he dried without a complaint. Instead he just smiled as he watched me get all the more excited with every crystal glass that was placed in our new china cabinet. He has taken two garage full of boxes and paper to the dumpster, helps clean the house for our important first guest with a smile and a wiliness to help. I am ashamed to say that most the time I expect this of him, not really appreciating how lucky I am to have a husband that adores me and will do whatever it takes so that I feel at home and happy.
