Happy Halloween

Princess Bell...from her favorite movie Beauty and the Beast
Ready to meet up with her cousins to Trick-or-Treat!!!
 Cam and Nora

 Uncle Taylor and Evie
 Camryn around the campfire

Evie's first smore! She didn't eat it!
Doing it all by herself!

I was able to have someone cover my shift for a few hours so I could rush home and trick-or-treat with Evie.  I had no idea how much fun it is watching your child learn the rules of trick-or-treating.  After the first house and that piece of candy going into her bucket Evie was hooked!  She walked right up to each door and knocked and then yelled loudly "Trick or Treat."  She never got the timing down but it didn't slow her down.  Some of my favorite quotes is when we started and she told me, "I am totally freaking out!" Or when we met up with her cousins and she said to Cam and she ran to the next door, "Watch this...I get candy!" This was by far my favorite Halloween ever and I can't wait for next year!

My bookwarm

Reading her new books after getting home from the library

 Can't put them down
Thanks Henry for listening and being my chair, must have been a long book because it is putting him to sleep.
Evie really loves to read!  She will have me read her a book a few times and then once she thinks she has it memorize I sit back because she is going to read to me now!  I have to admit I enjoy the stories a lot more hearing her creative interpretation over the actual book.  Her favorite series is the Biscuit books right now.  She carries them all over the house looking at the pictures and reading to anyone.  This includes me, Nora, Henry, Travis, Phyllis (her big stuffed dog), Anne (Rabbit), or no one.  I love when I tuck her in at night she insist on reading in bed but it is so dark in her room I know she can't see a single thing but just turns the pages and reads out loud.  I really hope she never grows out of this phase.  We go to the library once a week and it is a highlight for her to open books and read! I can't wait till she discovers really how to read and the stories she will uncover!

Sisters

Evie and Nora really do enjoy each other.  Evie gets close to Nora and tells her out "tute" she is and how much she loves her.  She helps with diaper changes, wiping up spit up on her mouth and reading to her little sister.  Nora lights up when she sees her big sister coming near.  For me there is nothing better than seeing my two girls love one another!  I was so worried I wouldn't be able to love two kids as much as I loved Evie but my heart continues to grow with love for each of them far bigger than I could have anticipated.  I am so thankful that God has a plan that I can not mess with because it is SO much better than my own!
I am so blessed and have more than I deserve!

Stole my Heart

Nora is 3 1/2 months now and her personality is bursting out of her.  She is so happy and loves to get my attention just to coo and smile at me.  Her smile is SO contagious it is more that just her mouth but her whole face and body smiles! Those big blue eyes and adorable dimples she got from her Daddy make me forget the 12 feedings we did the night before.  She loves to talk!!!!! I have started putting her head in my feet while I sit frogie on the floor and read books to her and it doesn't take long for her to join in and tell me what she thinks.  She loves the bath and makes a huge mess splashing around. She is getting used to the car and we are able to go more places without her screaming the entire time.  Nora LOVES people and loves to be held and if she isn't being held she wants to be swaddled tight so it feels like she is being held.  She hasn't started rolling over yet but does a great job at tummy time when I let her do it.  I honestly don't want her to grow up and am not encouraging any developmental skills.  I want her to stay a baby!!!

Family Time

 Daddy does so....
.......Evie does!

Bill's Pumpkin Patch

This is what going through the terrible 2s looks like
But then you get a face like this and you forget about that other side.
 Queen of the hay bales

Sweet treat of warm hot cocoa...it was chilly out
Evie made a friend right off the bat...a lab named Riley.  He went everywhere with us.

Evie's favorite part...the horse rides.  She was to small last year but this year she almost did it by herself.

 Loving her Dad
 Corn maze
 We escaped out the back
This was the winner! It was cute and Evie could pick it up for about 10 seconds.
 Her very favorite pumpkin

Last year Evie was too scared to put her hand in the pumpkin and this year she dug right in! Telling Nora how to do it the entire time!

Her masterpiece! She told me what shape she wanted the eye's and nose and she said she wanted them happy!
Cutest pumpkins EVER! Nora and Evie's

Amazed!!!!

This was such a fun time! It was the eve before Travis left the academy so it was fun to do something so special all together.  I am amazed how every year just gets more and more fun the more Evie understands and participates.  I have never loved Halloween but I am started to watching my daughters enjoy the Halloween traditions.
