Due to all the rain we had a small creek going through the neighborhood.

After Threads we decided to go home and go for a walk around our neighborhood. Charlie was the happiest about this decision. It as nice to get out and go around our new home. Like every night the topic of dinner comes up. I never feel like cooking and Travis cooking is out of the question, not because he is a bad cook but because he makes a huge mess. In our house if you cook you don't do dishes, and since there is two of us if Travis cooks I do ALL the dishes. Back and forth we went on what we should do and finally I got a good idea that neither of us should cook. We had heard of a really good place in Deritter about 30 minutes south of where we live. It is supposed to have good Cajun food. We rushed home got ready and were in the car for our first Cajun meal.
We lucked out.....I guess it started raining the next day after we left. Lauren and I were really lucky with the weather clear across the country! We missed the freezing cold weather, and we didn't get any rain until we reached our destination of Lexington, Virginia.
