On our way to Phoenix, AZ

Sight Seeing
Out of Los Angeles

Travis running for our lives at the gas station

After a long night of unpacking and repacking the Uhaul for now the third time we were finally ready to hit the road again. Our destination: Phoenix, AZ. Now that we had the Uhaul going the right way on the road nothing could get in our way...well except our GPS. We were plugging through Los Angeles when the GPS said "Take off ramp" well like Micheal Scott on the Office I did not argue, and off the freeway we went. This let to a eight mile stretch that took about one hour. Since we had no where to be we did a little sight seeing and the dog and cat made of shrubs was the only exciting thing we saw in the hour of stop lights and traffic. But we didn't let that get our spirits down we were on our way again to Phoenix, AZ. We decided to stop for gas since we only had dessert ahead. Little did we know the exit we took everyone and their grandma had decided to visit. We managed to pull in and get gas although I could feel my heart beating in my chest as the anxiety from not trying to hit something or get hit. Horns where blaring...luckily not at us :) Well since we were stopped and it was close to 1400 (2pm) we decided to just drive down the street and get a healthy lunch at McDonald's. Again the swarms of people and cars only made me that much closer to acquiring gray hair. We parked the small circus van and headed into get some lunch. My nerves were so on edge that I had little appetite, Travis on the other hand didn't seem effected at all. He ordered a Big Mac meal (large of coarse), an extra hamburger and mcchicken...and ate it all! After our feast we were back on the road in one piece! Thank you Lord!!!!
