First night in our new home

We arrived very late to our new home. My first impression of the home was not impressive but I knew it was probably due to a long day of travel. Because we didn't have time to unload the Uhaul due to the fact it was one in the morning and we had no idea where sheets and blankets were anyway. We layed out a a thin sheet, a fitted sheet, a small fleece blanket, and two pillows from the car ride to make our bed for the first night. The house was freezing because no heat had been turned on for almost a month. We layered on socks, shirts, pants and coats and layed downstairs by the only vent we could feel real heat from. Although it wasn't the best rest of my life there was some peace laying next to Travis in our new home....living like a married couple again!
